Nevertheless, the action scenes are very good that it could make old Arnie jump out his seat.

In comparison to the first there are additional robots and the action scenes have also dramatically increased. This gives the viewer the impression that the Transformers are in fact an integral part of our universe and not a far way aliens as was the case in the original movie.

On the acting side of things, no one takes anyones breath away but the cast does put together a decent job. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese look like they have been forced into delivering their script while Megan Fox looks as stunning as ever and does a good job at acting. Michael Bay has always loved slow motion sequences but this is probably the first time he puts in more slow motion sequences when Megan Fox is running than in the fight scenes but I must say, it was completely satisfying. Shia does a good job acting like the half confused- half hero college kid and is given the responsibility to save the world.

If you are looking for quality drama or a meaty script, look elsewhere. Otherwise, Transformers is ideal for you, especially if you are crazy about stunts and action sequences.
